#FamiliesBelongTogether Shabbat and Rally

Never again is now.

We grieve deeply for the families torn apart and children kidnapped from their parents by our own government.

Join JUFJ and our partners HIAS, Bend the Arc, and NCJW for the Rally to Keep Families Together this Saturday/Shabbat, if it is consistent with your practice.

We’ll gather just north of the White House with Jewish families and friends from across our region and all over our nation for a #FamiliesBelongTogether Shabbat service.

Together we will sing, pray, and learn from leaders on the front lines. Then we will add our collective Jewish voice to the rally in front of the White House.

Though the national outcry has already pushed the Administration to stop ripping kids from their parents, they’re still flying kids across the US, holding babies and families in cages, and making plans to build massive family detention camps. Our work is not be done until every child is in her parents’ arms, in safety and freedom.

Wear white on Shabbat/Saturday, and join us to demand:

• that all families be reunited
• that no more families be torn apart
• that no more children or families be detained
• that the people responsible for this unconscionable policy be held accountable
