Sarah joined JUFJ in September 2012. She is from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was working on a marriage equality campaign there with our affiliated organization Jewish Community Action before coming to DC, and has also worked on animal rights.

While studying Jewish Studies and Political Science in college, Sarah spent a semester studying abroad at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She says she's inspired by how member-driven JUFJ is, and she's excited to see how the Dream for Equality campaign she's joining will merge the marriage equality and DREAM Act issues.
