What would Montgomery County be like if race and ethnicity couldn’t be used to predict the opportunities, resources, or quality of life we experience? And how can a racial equity policy get us closer to that kind of world?

Join the Montgomery County Racial Equity Network for a community-organized forum on racial equity policy. During the forum we will:

  • Build a shared understand of what racial equity means for our daily lives;
  • Introduce the People’s Priorities and Principles for Racial Equity in Montgomery County; and
  • Organize to ensure that our voices are heard during the racial equity legislation process this fall.

Come share feedback and learn about ways to mobilize around this effort, as we envision what true racial equity can look like in MoCo.

Interpretation and light dinner will be provided. Free childcare provided in a separate nearby building 2 minutes away from VisArts. If you require childcare, you must register for it in advance.

Organized by the Montgomery County Racial Equity Network
