Raise awareness about this historic ballot measure on Election Day with JUFJ and our partners at CJSJ, SURJ, and CASA. Help pass local control in Baltimore by signing up for a shift on Election Day! Folks must attend a Zoom training on Monday from 7-8 PM, and pick up materials at CASA on Sunday from 10 AM - 1 PM, or JUFJ on Monday from 12 PM - 6 PM. You will receive more information via email after you RSVP.

What does it mean to be an Orthodox Jew engaging in social justice? Join JUFJ to welcome Dr. Hannah Lebovits for a hybrid community conversation about affordable housing, progressive advocacy, and the Orthodox community. Hannah Lebovits is an assistant professor of public affairs at the University of Texas-Arlington and a contributing columnist at the Forward. Her research and teaching focus on topics related to housing and homelessness, community development, and social sustainability. A graduate of Beth Jacob of Jerusalem and Touro's Lander College for Women, Hannah now lives in the Dallas Orthodox community with her husband and two children.

The event will be hybrid; the Zoom component will be live-captioned.

Annapolis Academy: Our Issues, Our Legislators

Learn how to effectively tell stories and ask questions at the upcoming legislator meetings! Everyone who is asking questions at legislator meetings will have time to practice. This event is one hour and 15 minutes - sign up for the 6:30 PM or the 8:00 PM start time.
