Carla joined JUFJ in April of 2014. After a stint as the office manager and event planning czar, she has pivoted to a niche in fundraising and operations, helping you to give money to JUFJ and supporting operational & organizational culture — with some light event planning left over (like the Heschel Awards and aspects of the Labor Seder).
Before coming to JUFJ, she worked in logistics and operations in nonprofits and retail, after earning her MA in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University School of Professional Studies. She also holds a BA in Public History from Western Michigan University. She is an active member of the Nation’s Capital Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi, as well as a chapter advisor at the University of Richmond. When not working or advising, she enjoys boxing classes, expanding her cooking skills, and working towards her Goodreads book goal for the year.
