Chase joined JUFJ in June of 2018. He makes sure JUFJ works and runs smoothly in every capacity by managing databases, providing administrative support, maintaining technological systems and office operations, planning community events, designing graphics, and assisting with fundraising.
Before beginning work with JUFJ, Chase worked professionally at various arts nonprofits in DC, Boston, New York, and San Francisco. Chase also dedicates himself as a volunteer organizer to a number of causes, including on issues of racial justice and international human rights. In addition to organizing, Chase is also a founding member of the New Synagogue Project and helps lead an art collective dedicated to distributing artists’ books and zines. He lives in Washington, DC with his partner and their cat, Yoshi.
