Chase joined JUFJ as the Operations Associate in June of 2018. He makes sure JUFJ works and runs smoothly in every capacity by managing databases, providing administrative support, maintaining technological systems and in-office operations, planning community events, and fundraising. Before beginning work with JUFJ, Chase worked professionally at various arts nonprofits in DC, Boston, New York, and San Francisco.

While working in the arts, Chase also dedicated himself as a volunteer organizer to a number of causes, including issues of racial justice, international human rights, and student empowerment within higher education. In addition to organizing, Chase also helps lead an art collective dedicated to distributing artists’ books and zines. He, and his partner Anna, live in Columbia Heights in Washington, DC.
