Colby joined JUFJ staff in February 2018 (and JUFJ Campaign Fund staff in August 2018). Since joining JUFJ, Colby’s contributions include: administrative, communications, and programmatic support; making piles of office supplies fit where they didn’t before; and destroying a refrigerator with nothing but a paper clip.
Colby graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in Sociology and Feminist, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. Before joining JUFJ, they spent their time working for health equity and access, and facilitating intersectional workshops on sexual, physical, and mental health for youth ages 9-22. When not at work, Colby spends a lot of time thinking about liberatory social systems, the gender binary, radical children’s literature, and what to cook for dinner.
