Ericka Taylor, Principal of Taylor Consulting and Facilitation, has over 20 years of experience in the social justice arena, with deep engagement in grantmaking, community organizing, training, and facilitation. Prior to working as a consultant, she served as the first Executive Director of the DC Fair Budget Coalition. Ericka began her organizing career with the Washington, DC chapter of ACORN. She also organized with Tenants and Workers Support Committee (now Tenants and Workers United) and trained young people and youth organizers as the Southeast Regional Program Coordinator for YouthAction.
In 2000, Ericka joined the philanthropic community as part of the Public Welfare Foundation. She next became the Organizing Coordinator for Organizing Neighborhood Equity, DC (ONE DC). She has served as a member of the Board of Directors or Steering Committees of YouthAction, the National Organizers Alliance, the Youth Education Alliance, Progressive Technology Project, National Priorities Project, and La Clínica del Pueblo and is currently a board member of the Western States Center and JUFJ.
