Nora joined JUFJ in the fall of 2024 as an Avodah Corps Member. Originally from New Jersey, Nora moved to Washington DC in 2020 to attend George Washington University, where she recently earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychological Brain Sciences. Nora is deeply passionate about social justice, particularly in the context of women’s rights, gender equity, and criminal justice reform. Throughout her time in college, Nora explored these interests by working for several nonprofit organizations, including the National Organization for Women, the Center for Policing Equity, and RepresentWomen. Nora also played a pivotal role in sexual violence prevention on her college campus, serving as Co-President of Students Against Sexual Assault and leading consent education programming for a variety of student organizations.
Nora is thrilled to join JUFJ as a DC Community Organizer and help advance social and economic justice across the district. Outside of her role at JUFJ, you can find Nora practicing yoga, exploring the city’s best coffee shops, and volunteering as a clinic defender for Planned Parenthood.
