Yona Gorelick joined the JUFJ staff team in 2014 to coordinate the first-ever Baltimore Jeremiah Fellowship. Prior to JUFJ’s expansion to Baltimore, Yona worked for six years at Goucher College Hillel. She has studied and taught Jewish text, song, and ta’am (flavor) up and down the East Coast.
Yona is instrumental in illuminating people’s inherent resilience, hatching hopefulness, and manifesting wholeness. A graduate of Barnard College, Yona also holds Level One certification in Internal Family Systems therapy.
Yona has lived in Central West Baltimore for ten years and was a founding co-chair of the No Boundaries Coalition. She takes great pleasure in eating ice cream and playing with words.
