If you have come to help me you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together. — Aboriginal Activists Group, Queensland, Australia, 1970s

Our first workshop on Oppression and Jewish identity situated our lived experiences as Jewish people carrying multiple identities within a society built upon structural oppression. We worked on unpacking and understanding our various identities, and the importance of allyship and shared struggles.

JUFJ’s White Supremacy Workshop Series is generously funded by The Kolker-Saxon-Hallock Family Foundation Inc., A Supporting Foundation of the Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore.

Starting on September 22, we will be holding a small workshop series, by application only, on building racial justice in Baltimore as Jews.
