Maiya is currently a student at the George Washington University studying Political Communications and Disability Studies. Before working at JUFJ, she worked on a congressional campaign and interned with Cozen O’Connor. She is passionate about local organizing, disability justice and queer advocacy.

In her free time she debates with GW’s parliamentary debate team, plays guitar and paints.
